At Camp Benaiah, you can listen to the gurgle of a tropical stream, see the dazzling colours of native birds or butterflies and be amazed by a night sky full of stars and planets.

Camp Benaiah is a ministry of Ingham Independent Baptist Church. It was begun in 1987 and is located north of Ingham at the base of South Gardiner Mountain. The Camp property borders a Nature Refuge and a National Forest.

Camp Activities

Depending on the type of camp and weather conditions, Camp Benaiah offers a variety of exciting activities for campers to participate in. The large grass oval at the center of the camp is perfect for a variety of team challenges and sports.

Facilities at Camp

The facilities at Camp Benaiah continue to be developed. Currently, the camp features a large sports oval, bunkhouse accommodation, tent/caravan sites, amenities block, meeting hall, kitchen, TNT building and a small conference room.
